Eigentlich hab ich es ja nicht so mit Nachrufen und RIP-Posts, aber dieser drängt sich mir so sehr auf, dass ich eine Ausnahme mache. Eine Ausnahme für eine Ausnahme. Die Modewelt ist irrelevant für mich, doch ihre Schnittmenge mit der Kunst will ich nicht leugnen. Und genau dort war Manfred Thierry Mugler zu finden. Ein Visionär, Innovateur und Traumtänzer (pun intended!), den ich wirklich bewundert habe. Er war das personifizierte Antidot zur Oberflächlichkeit von „Fashion“.

Die spärlichen Reste in meinem Angel-Flakon waren mir längst heilig, denn Clarins hat vor zwei Jahren die Rezeptur versaut verändert. Aber ab sofort werde ich noch sparsamer damit umgehen. Nur heute nicht. Heute hülle ich mich und das ganze Haus darin ein. Godspeed, Mr. Mugler!
